CS-260 Colorimeter for Cosmetic Packing Bags Color Measurement

With the high-end development of cosmetic industry, cosmetic packing intuitively reflects the quality of the cosmetics and gives the first impression. The quality of cosmetic packaging affects its quality. Therefore, the manufacturers of cosmetic require higher quality for the packing bags.
One Yangzhou Enterprise who is the first cosmetic company in China want to improve its packing bags color quality. They are using visual method for color control. With the development of the company, visual method can not meet the their requirement. So they want to use our colorimeter CS-260 with PT color number matching function for the color control to improve the product quality.
CS-260 colorimeter made by CHNSpec Technology can match the color number of PT color chart. It is widely used for many industries such as printing, textile, dyeing, household, building material, food, etc. It could measure the product surface to easily get L*a*b, L*C*h, △E*ab，XYZ, relative RGB value, Hunter whiteness, Ganz whiteness, YI, and color difference value.
Now we will introduce how to use our colorimeter CS-260 to control the color quality of cosmetic packing bags. This colorimeter is with functions of color difference measurement and color number matching.
The first step: Turn on the instrument and then calibrate it. Set the instrument light source, tolerance, etc according to measurement requirement. Put the instrument on the target sample. No light is allowed to enter into the instrument. Press “test”, after hearing the sound of “beep”, we could see the testing result directly on the instrument.
The Second Step: After target sample is tested, save it and then press “menu” to enter into the “sample measurement” interface. Put the testing sample under the instrument, press “test”, after hearing the sound of “beep” we could see the testing result.
After get color difference value, customer required us to match color number of PT color chart. Now we will introduce how to realize it.
The Third Step: In the main interface, press “up” or “down” to get the “color searching” icon, press “enter” to enter into the color searching page. Choose suitable color chart. Put the sample under the instrument, press “test” for color measurement. After hearing the sound of “beep” we will get its L*a*b value and three color numbers and pages whose color are similar to the sample.
After measurement, instrument will match three color numbers which are the most similar to the sample color. Customer could find the color and get color formular according to the color number and page information. Instrument measurement has the advantage of time saving and higher accuracy. Customer was satisfied with the testing result and decided to buy our instrument.
